Job summary

GXO Logistics is hiring experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for a full-time, permanent position at our Kettering depot. You will drive C+E vehicles to customer stores and collect from suppliers, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in every task.

We offer a competitive hourly rate of £20.73 plus benefits, including 28 days of annual leave and a pension. You will work on a 5-out-of-7 rota, including weekends, with career progression opportunities in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Hold a full UK driving licence with category C+E entitlement.
• Have valid Driver Qualification and Digital Tachograph Cards.
• No more than six penalty points in total.
• Experience driving category C+E vehicles is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customer stores and collect goods from suppliers accurately and on time.
• Operate company vehicles in a safe, legal, and efficient manner.
• Complete all necessary paperwork correctly, in full and on time.
• Be compliant with Driver’s hours, Tachograph, Working Time, and Road Traffic Act regulations.

Here at GXO Logistics, we are currently looking for the full-time, permanent HGV Class 1 Drivers to join us at our depot in Kettering for our client, one of the largest chain of supermarkets in the UK, Sainsbury’s. Argos DC

This is a full time, permanent role. You will be working any 5 days out of 7 on a rota basis, including weekends.

Start times available:

• 05:00
• 07:00 - 08:00
• 14:00.

What you will do on a typical day:

• Deliver products to customer’s stores and collect goods from suppliers accurately, in a timely and professional manner
• Operate company vehicles in a safe, legal, and efficient manner
• Complete all necessary paperwork correctly, in full and on time
• Be compliant with Driver’s hours, Tachograph, Working Time, and Road Traffic Act regulations

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• Full UK driving licence with category C+E entitlement
• Valid Driver Qualification and Digital Tachograph Cards
• No more than 6 current penalty points
• No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements within the previous 5 years
• Previous experience driving category C+E vehicles is desirable
