Job summary

Booker is the UK's leading food & drink wholesaler and part of Tesco plc. We are recruiting Class 1 drivers to join our Transport Team at our Booker Retail Partner site. You will be responsible for the safe delivery of stock to independent retailers' stores.

Hours are 45-48 per week over five days with 04:00-07:00 starts. The role includes handball and physical work, outdoor conditions, and multi-drop deliveries.

Qualifications

• Class 1 licence held with CPC qualification.
• Ability to deliver excellent customer service.
• Experience with multi-drop deliveries is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver stock to independent retailers' stores.
• Handle temperature controlled deliveries where required.
• Work across routes with flexible hours and start times.

We're recruiting for Class 1 drivers to join our Transport Team at our Booker Retail Partner site. In this position, you will be responsible for the safe delivery of stock to our independent retailers stores.

45-48 hours per week over 5 days, Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday, 04.00-07.00 am start times.

Our Class 1 jobs do require handball and manual work which can be a physically demanding. This includes working outside in adverse weather conditions ad handballing product at some of the delivery points.

Routes vary daily and therefore successful applicants will need to be flexible in work and hours of work (including at short notice)
