Job summary

Ocado Logistics is seeking an experienced LGV driver to join our delivery and collection network across multiple sites. You will operate flexible shifts, including nights, late shifts, weekends, with a minimum 32 hours contracted and extended hours as routes require.

You will collect shopping from our state-of-the-art warehouses and carry it to regional sites. A category C+E licence, up to 6 points, and 12 months on licence are required; LGV experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Category C+E licence and have up to 6 penalty points.
• No driving disqualifications in the past 10 years.
• Minimum of 12 months experience on your driving licence.
• Desirable LGV experience.

Responsibilities

Job description

The Best HGV job you will ever do!

Large Goods Vehicles (LGV) drivers will undertake delivery and collection of products to and from a variety of locations in line with all company policies and procedures.

You will be required to work a flexible shift pattern consisting of nights, late and early shifts including weekends. Your minimum contracted hours will be 32 hours, however routes are assigned up to 12.5 hours per day, as such you will regularly be expected to carry out additional hours.

Day-to-day you will collect shopping from our state-of-the-art warehouses and take it to our smaller regional sites. No multi drops or hidden lanes.

So what do we need from you?

A passion for driving and all things trucks and lorries, along with the following driving licence requirements:

• A category C+E driving licence
• A maximum of 6 penalty points
• No driving disqualifications in the past 10 years
• Minimum of 12 months experience on your driving licence
• Desirable to have a minimum of 6 months LGV experience

It also is a prerequisite that you are a safe and competent driver with the ability to be flexible on your shift length on a daily basis. As our new state of the art fleet are our pride and joy and we need to know they are in safe hands.

You will complete a Right to Work Checks

Pay Structure : This position is lunar paid.

This means you will be paid every 4 weeks according to a monthly schedule.

Hourly pay:

• Basic Rate: £19.20
• Evening premium (18:00-06:00): £2.00
• Sunday Day Premium: £1.74
• Sunday Evening Premium (18:00-06:00): £3.94
• Overtime Day rate: £24.00
• Overtime Evening rate (18:00-06:00): £26.50
