IRD Recruitment is actively hiring HGV Class 1 drivers to support a key client in Daventry. This role offers a reliable Monday to Sunday schedule with varied shift options and excellent pay. You’ll be part of a well-run operation with weekly pay and ongoing consultant support.

Key requirements include a full UK HGV Class 1 licence, CPC and Tacho Card, up to 6 penalty points, and at least 1 year of Class 1 experience. Strong communication and professionalism are essential.

Qualifications

• Full UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence is required.
• Valid CPC and Tacho Card.
• No more than 6 penalty points.
• At least 1 year of HGV Class 1 driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate HGV Class 1 vehicles for general haulage.
• Complete paperwork and maintain accurate records.
• Communicate professionally with clients and team.
• Adhere to shift schedules (days and nights).

Role Overview

• Type of Work: General haulage (client-specific)
• Location: Daventry, Northamptonshire
• Shift Options Available:
• Days: Start times between 03:00 - 12:00
• Nights: Start times between 13:00 - 02:00
• Working Days: Monday to Sunday

Pay & Benefits

• Pay Rate: £18.00 - £21.00 per hour

Requirements
