Job summary

Ideal Recruit Ltd is recruiting Class 1 drivers for Coventry-area assignments. The role includes a rota of 5 out of 7 days with 8+ hour shifts, with block-booked hotel accommodation including breakfast and one meal per day for the duration.

Travel mileage is reimbursed at 45p per mile within the UK, plus a weekly subsistence payment and a weekly relocation bonus for completed weeks. Project length is 8–10 weeks with PAYE pay rates from £24.02–£27.53 per hour (holidays included).

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• No more than 6 penalty points (minor offences only).
• Up-to-date CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card.

Responsibilities

• Drive Class 1 vehicles on relocation assignments.
• Stay in company hotel during the contract and manage travel between hotels.
• Start times between 01:00 and 03:00 with 8+ hour shifts.

Job description

Ideal Recruit is lookingfor Class 1 drivers fora reputable company inCoventry (needs to be 1 hour away).

A rota based on any 5 out of 7 days with a minimum of 8 hours daily.

Block-booked paid hotel accommodation, including breakfast and 1 meal per day for the contract duration.

Travel mileage paid between hotels (within United Kingdom only) to and from the allocated hotel at start and end of assignment at 45pence per mile.

£15 per day subsistence payment @ 7 days per week = £105 paid weekly.

Weekly relocation payment accrued and paid at end of assignment for each full week (5 shifts per week) attended, paid @£240 bonus per week

Project duration will be a minimum of 8 to 10 weeks.

PAYE pay rates from £24.02 and £27.53 per hour (hol inc.)

Must work Christmas Eve or Boxing Day plus NYE or NYD.

Drivers should be a minimum 1 hour away from the site they wish to relocate to - they must stay in the hotel

Support for the drivers will always be available

Couple hours for inductions.

Start times between 01:00 - 03:00.

• DAYS: £21.44
• STARTS BETWEEN- 02:01-04:00 is £22.48
• STARTS BETWEEN- 04:01-05:00 is £21.99
• STARTS BETWEEN- 05:01-05:30 is £21.71
• FINISHES BETWEEN- 20:00-21:39 is £22.22
• FINISHES BETWEEN- 21:40-01:59 is £23.09
• THREE HOURS ACROSS- 23:00-05:00 is £24.57
