Job summary

Pure Staff is actively recruiting a Class 1 (C+E) Tramping Driver for high‑demand trunking work based in Highbridge, Somerset. This temporary role offers ad hoc shifts with the potential for ongoing assignments and immediate start.

You will drive long distances Monday–Friday, with start at 06:00 and finish after route completion. Pay is £19.05 per hour including holiday pay, with weekly in-house payroll and direct PAYE employment.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid UK Category C+E (Class 1) driving licence.
• Possess a valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Minimum 1 year of Class 1 driving experience.
• No more than 3 penalty points, no major endorsements.
• Professional, reliable, and punctual approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Long-distance trunking work.
• No handball or manual handling required.
• Monday to Friday shifts.
• Start time 06:00 Monday, finishing when the route is complete on Friday.

Pay Rate

Monday to Friday: £19.05 per hour (including holiday pay).

Pure Staff Worcester is currently recruiting an experienced Class 1 (C+E) Tramping Driver on behalf of one of our valued, long-standing clients based in Highbridge.

The Role

• Long-distance trunking work
