Job summary

A leading insurance consulting firm is looking for a Claims Technician to join their Legacy Claims Team in Liverpool. The successful candidate will manage Disease claims and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders while adhering to SLAs. This role offers training for those without technical background in EL/PL claims. A hybrid working model is in place, allowing flexibility in work location.

Pro Insurance currently has a new opportunity for a Claims Technician to join our Legacy Claims Team processing claims in supporting an existing client.

Pro operates a hybrid working model and the majority of this role will be working from home with travel to a local ELPL hub in Glasgow, Liverpool or Horsham on a weekly basis and to other locations when required.

Purpose of Role & Responsibilities
  • Reporting to the Legacy Claims Team Leader this position would suit someone with EL / PL disease experience including but not limited to:
  • NIHL
  • HAVS
  • Pleural Plaques
  • The ability to manage a caseload of Disease claim from FNOL to settlement in accordance with agreed SLAs
  • Liaising with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Proactively support the team in their achievements and overall business objectives
  • Contribute to projects relevant to the sub vertical
  • Strengthen client relationships
  • Represent Pro in a professional manner to both peers and potential marketplace acquaintances
Skills and Experience
  • Technical background relating to EL / PL claims is preferable however not essential. Full training will be provided for the successful candidate.
  • Experience in other claims is a distinct advantage.
  • Effective communication skills and key stakeholder relationship management skills.
  • Adaptable to change.
  • Strong relationship building skills and a professional and approachable manner.
  • Ability to work towards SLAs with accuracy.
