This role offers an opportunity to join a leading property and construction insurer in a claims handling capacity. The successful applicant will manage complex claims, mentor junior team members, and build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to strengthen AXIS's market position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Adjust all types of property and construction claims worldwide, following claims handling guidelines, and report to the Claims Manager.
• Manage third-party service providers, legal advisors, and experts to ensure high-quality claims service.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients and brokers.
• Handle company Market and Lloyd's Syndicate claims.
• Assist with complex cases and mentor junior colleagues.
• Have working knowledge of handling complex claims, including reserving, evaluation, and coverage analysis.
• Coordinate with underwriters, expert panels, and participate in client meetings.
• Collaborate with Risk Management and Actuarial teams for consistent information sharing.
• Assist with reinsurance recoveries and address reinsurer queries.
• Maintain accurate claims records manually and electronically.
• Perform additional duties as required.

About You:

• Bring your experience and expertise; qualifications are a plus but not mandatory.

What you need to have:

• Understanding of the London Market classes of business.
• Claims experience in insurance, especially in property and/or construction.
• Ability to build relationships with clients and third parties.
• Communicate technical concepts effectively.
• Make disciplined decisions focused on results.
• Team-oriented with self-motivation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a syndicate, company, or brokerage claims department.
• Knowledge of ECF2, Docosoft, and London market systems.
• Degree or professional qualification (e.g., CII).
• Interest in property and construction markets.
