Claims Service Adviser

Are you a Claims Handler with experience in handling UK commercial claims? Are you able to build strong, lasting relationships with clients, and secure them the best possible claims outcomes? If so, we might have the perfect opportunity for you. This role can be based in either Glasgow, Leeds or Manchester.

What the day will look like
  • Managing a diverse portfolio of claims, with the opportunity to develop in other lines of business.
  • Dealing with cases in line with FCA guidelines; relevant pre-action protocols and managing cases within Claims Portal.
  • Establishing relevant coverages and handling within delegated authority end-to-end.
  • Providing expert advice/advocacy, technical analysis and litigation support to clients to facilitate the settlement of claims.
  • Liaising with a variety of stakeholders and establishing and maintaining key client contacts.
  • Establishing and maintaining electronic claim files; process claims information and co‑ordinate internal claims‑related activities.
  • Maintaining and reviewing appropriate claims reserves.
  • Working in compliance within Aon UK Limited policy guidelines, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interest or reputation of any Group Company.

As a Claims Service Adviser, you will be responsible for managing a varied portfolio of claims within an allocation of commercial corporate clients. Yours will be a key role in ensuring all claims progress without delay and to an optimal conclusion. Responsibilities will include:
