The Company

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading global insurance organisation. They are seeking a Construction Claims Manager to join their London office. This is a senior role, dealing with complex, high-value, and often international construction losses , with a focus on Employers' Liability (EL), Public Liability (PL), and Contractors' All Risk (CAR) insurance .

The Role

As Construction Claims Manager, you will be deployed on the most complex cases, providing technical expertise and supporting clients through challenging claims.

Responsibilities include :

  • Managing complex construction claims (EL, PL, CAR) from notification to settlement
  • Acting as senior point of contact for clients on high-value and sensitive matters
  • Negotiating with insurers and other stakeholders to achieve resolution
  • Providing technical claims advice and ensuring clients are kept fully informed
  • Producing accurate reports and maintaining claims records
  • Supporting colleagues by sharing specialist knowledge and expertise
About You
  • Strong experience handling construction-related claims , including EL, PL, and CAR
  • Background in insurance or legal claims handling
  • ACII qualification (or working towards) desirable
  • Familiarity with CLASS and ECF systems an advantage
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and organisational skills
  • Able to manage a busy caseload with accuracy and attention to detail
