Position Overview

Our client, a local successful business based in Peterborough, is currently expanding and is actively seeking a dedicated Customer Claims Support Advisor to join their small professional team. This is a fully office‑based position working Monday to Friday 8.45am – 5.15pm.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the first point of contact for clients, providing exceptional customer service and relationship management.
  • Handle all stages of the claims process from first instruction through to settlement, including dealing with queries, working closely with internal and external stakeholders, and updating and accurately recording information on internal systems and client records.
  • Provide updates throughout the process to clients, manage workload and diary effectively, and uphold industry standards.
  • Deal with complaints and escalating as required.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Previous experience in a Customer Service / Claims environment, ideally within insurance or financial services.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with proficiency in MS Office.
  • Enthusiasm for maintaining a high standard of work, excellent team player, and willingness to learn.
