Working days: Monday to Friday (08:30-17:00)

We are looking for an experienced and motivational Claims and Processing expert to join our team to support our growing team on a Fixed Term Contract.

As a Claims and Processing Manager with Babington, you will be responsible for compliance of all ILR data, ensuring identification and correction of funding compliance data issues to maximise accurate funding claims along with contributing towards ensuring the error rate is maintained at less than 5%.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsibility for the timely submission of Babington's ILR
  • Overall responsibility for the management of the Claims and Processing team including completion of monthly 1:1s, monitoring performance and ongoing staff development.
  • Responsibility for accuracy of ILR data, ensuring both employer and ESFA funding drawdown is full and complete, liaising with internal staff, external bodies and employers for clarification/confirmation where required.
  • Responsibility for responding to monthly DSAT and DFE funding monitoring reports ensuring corrective actions are carried out, liaising with Group Compliance team to ensure data informs internal audit checks.
  • Assist Group Funding and Audit team with the interpretation of DFE funding guidance and communication to the business including and supporting with any required changes to paperwork and processes to relevant parties.
  • Assist with providing internal training to the team on internal and external processes and paperwork via face to face or virtual training.
  • Compile monthly compliance board reports for Customer Operations Director.
Requirements
  • Grade A-C GCSE in English and Maths or equivalent
  • Level 3 Leadership and Management Qualification or equivalent
  • Experience of working within the Further Education Sector
  • Experience of line managing a team
  • Experience of having active involvement in external government funded audits, predominately for Apprenticeships
  • Experience within a Compliance Management position
  • Experience of delivering excellence through the delivery of exceptional customer service for both internal and external customers
  • Ability to embrace and demonstrate both organisational and sector change to support and sponsor change, helping others to successfully manage it too.
  • Ability to focus on the desired results of own or others work, setting and managing challenging objectives, focusing effort on the objectives and meeting or exceeding them
  • Ability to create an inclusive environment, encoring collaboration to build effective and engaging partnerships.
