Markel Corporation in Leeds is seeking a Claims Adjuster for the London Market Energy line. You will manage a portfolio of claims from first notification to settlement while coordinating with brokers, insureds and external partners.

Qualifications

• Previous claims experience (commercial insurance preferred).

Responsibilities

• Manage your own portfolio of London Market claims from first notification to settlement.
• Triaging, diarising and reviewing cases, applying reserving philosophies.
• Updating in-house and London Market systems with accuracy.
• Building trusted relationships with brokers, insureds, TPAs, and co-insurers.
• Monitoring TPAs, lawyers and adjusters; raising issues where needed.
• Collaborating with Underwriting, Actuarial and Outwards Reinsurance.
• Providing insights, trends and input into monthly/quarterly reporting.
• Shaping improvements, processes and team initiatives.
