A leading insurance firm in Greater London is seeking a motivated Claims Adjuster to focus on Credit & Political Risk claims. This role offers the chance to build expertise in political risk and credit, managing claims from initial notification to settlement in a collaborative environment. Candidates should possess strong communication skills, a customer-focused mindset, and a willingness to take responsibility. Experience in the insurance sector is advantageous but not essential.
Canopius has an established team of underwriters and claims adjusters working collaboratively to provide exceptional customer service and practical solutions to our clients. The team handles claims arising from a wide range of risks and this role will focus on Credit & Political Risk and Crisis Management (CPC) claims. Canopius is a leading insurer in this field, providing protection against risks such as non-payment, illegal government intervention, sabotage and terrorism. This breadth of underwriting interest creates a unique opportunity for an individual interested in claims to build a comprehensive knowledge of the political risk and credit world, working closely with internal political and legal experts in addition to our underwriters.
Our Claims Vision is “to continually push the boundaries of customer excellence through an empowered, collaborative and innovative approach to claims; to be the envy of the market” and is at the core of everything we do. Canopius is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Claims Adjuster. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Claims Adjuster in the London insurance market; experience in CPC claims is advantageous but we are committed to the development of a diverse team and very open to applications from adjusters with experience in different classes of business (such as Financial Lines, Political Violence or Property) who would like the opportunity to specialise in an exciting niche class of business. The successful candidate will learn to proactively and independently adjust political risk and credit claims from initial notification through to settlement.
