Job summary

A leading construction firm in Nottingham is seeking an Assistant Site Manager to oversee site operations, manage project delivery, and ensure safety compliance. The ideal candidate will have a background in cladding and relevant technical qualifications. Responsibilities include managing resources, liaising with various stakeholders, and maintaining quality standards. Qualifications

  • Technical qualification in a construction-related discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Background in cladding or facades required.
  • Relevant NVQ in construction must be completed or in progress.
  • Possession of a CSCS card is essential.
  • SSTS training is beneficial.
  • Must have QCQA certification.
  • Experience with EWI is advantageous.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Must keep up to date with H&S legislation and company processes.
  • Other necessary training for role delivery is required.
  • Driving license and vehicle access would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing specified works and workforce to meet schedules and budgets.
  • Coordinate labor and material requirements across site teams.
  • Maintain accurate records for all aspects of work.
  • Collaborate with project management and QS on orders and budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with H&S plans and relevant regulations.
