A national health service provider in Aberdeen is seeking a dedicated Discharge Co‑ordinator to streamline patient discharge processes. The successful candidate will coordinate planning and communicate with various departments while ensuring high patient care standards. Candidates should possess a current NMC PIN and have recent experience in an acute setting. This full-time position offers a supportive team environment focused on improving discharge pathways. We are looking for a hardworking, organised team‑player with a current NMC PIN to take on the role of Discharge Co‑ordinator within the System Flow team at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for improving patient flow and supporting safe, timely discharges.
The role will involve working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patients receive a high standard of care during the discharge process. You will be a motivated and enthusiastic individual with recent acute experience and an interest in service development to help shape and enhance this vital area.
This post is Monday‑Friday, between 0800‑2000hrs, with future plans to extend to weekends and public holidays.
