Working Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00-16:30
Salary: £34,000 – £36,000 (p/a dependant on experience)

We are seeking three dedicated and experienced Civil Supervisors to oversee and manage civils in the field in around theFiltonarea.

This role plays a vital part in the successful delivery of high-quality fibre infrastructure, aligned with strict quarterly and annual targets. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing onsite civils activities, ensuring all work is carried out to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Key responsibilities include overseeing contractors to ensure safe working practices, conducting regular safety checks, and maintaining positive working relationships with stakeholders, contractors, and highway authorities (HAs). The role also involves self-auditing work during and post-completion to ensure full compliance and minimal defects. All works must be delivered on time, with thorough site clearance upon completion.

This position requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional committed to delivering results while upholding the highest standards of safety, quality, and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities
  • Accurate reporting of civils progress to the Civils Manager and Project Manager
  • Engagement with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensuring the civils are completed in a timely but high quality and safely manor
  • Ensuring all engineers accreditations are suffice for the works undergoing onsite
  • At least 2x quality and health & safety checks a week on the on site sub contractors
  • Ensure correct quality standards are met at all times self auditing works during and after the works are complete
  • Completing A55s for any reactive works
  • Cross referencing job packs with survey returns
  • Looking at onsite re-routes for failed civils works
Experience and skills
  • Essential Openreach/BT Networks civils works experience
  • Liaising with contractors and HA’s (Bristol would be desirable)
  • Civils safe working practices and enforcing the safety culture
  • Essential strong written, verbal communication skills
  • Essential computer literacy knowledge/skills, working with excel, outlook and Microsoft teams
  • Have strong organisational skills
  • Strong time keeping skills
