Overview

Astute's EPC Contract Power team is partnering with a leading End Client / Operator within the UK Power Industry to recruit a Civils Supervisor to oversee the full Civils scope of works for their new build Waste to Energy facility based in Cambridgeshire.

The Civils Supervisor comes with a day rate from 400.00 to 500.00 outside of IR35.

Responsibilities
  • Act as the client's on-site representative, overseeing the EPC contractor's civil works delivery
  • Monitor contractor performance against programme, scope, and contractual requirements
  • Chair and attend regular site meetings with EPC construction management and discipline leads
  • Review and challenge method statements, risk assessments, and temporary works proposals
  • Ensure all civil works comply with approved designs, specifications, and statutory regulations
  • Monitor HSE performance, escalating non-conformances and ensuring corrective actions are implemented
  • Track progress, identify risks or delays, and provide clear reporting to the client project team
  • Witness inspections, testing, and handover of civil works, ensuring quality standards are met
  • Provide key stakeholders and the project delivery team progress updates on the civils scope of works
