Job location: Gloucester Business Park, Gloucester, Atlantic Quays, Glasgow, Hybrid, minimum of 2 days a week in office.

What you'll do

As a Civils Structural Engineer, you’ll lead and manage technical activities to ensure nuclear safety and compliance across a range of projects. You’ll be the go-to expert for your scope, drawing on the support of a collaborative and experienced team. You’ll be at the forefront of civil design and construction for Hinkley Point C, contribute to the ramp-up of Sizewell C, and support life extension projects for our existing nuclear fleet. Your work will directly impact Britain’s journey to #CarbonNetZero. This is a role where your expertise will shape the future of nuclear energy, offering both challenge and reward in equal measure.

Who you are
  • You’ll bring experience as a Civil or Structural Engineer, with a strong background in designing or reviewing reinforced concrete and steelwork structures in line with Eurocodes or equivalent standards.
  • You’re confident in leading integrated technical solutions and managing governance and stakeholders effectively.
  • Ideally, you’re chartered or on the path to becoming chartered and have worked on complex projects in regulated industries. While nuclear experience is a plus, it’s not essential.
  • Your knowledge of seismic design, US codes, finite element analysis, and CDM 2015 will be highly valued.
  • You’re a great communicator, comfortable working with diverse teams and regulatory bodies.
