Civils Project Quantity Surveyor

My client is a reputable regional civil engineering contractor with extensive works secured on frameworks across the north west. They require a Project Quantity Surveyor to join the team. The company delivers infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, utilities, rail and public realm.

Responsibilities

• Procurement of sub-contractors
• Preparation and submission of external applications for payment
• Identification, pricing and agreement of change
• Valuation and management of sub‑contractor accounts
• Commercial management of the projects

Project Exposure

Site-based projects across the north west: Lancashire, Cumbria, Liverpool and Greater Manchester.

Profile

Excellent communication skills, natural problem solver with commercial acumen. Understanding of various forms of measurement and NEC engineering and construction contracts.

Qualifications

• BSc, NVQ4 or MSc Qualification
