Job summary

Sphere Solutions is seeking an experienced Civils Planner to join their Cardiff team, delivering robust construction programmes from first principles.

You will work with project teams to understand methodologies, sequencing and critical requirements, using Primavera P6 to monitor progress and report to stakeholders.

Hybrid role in South Wales with exposure to major civil engineering and infrastructure projects; strong planning culture is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Civils Planner in civil engineering or infrastructure.
• Strong civils/infrastructure planning experience and ability to develop programmes from first principles.
• Proficient in Primavera P6 and developing robust programmes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage detailed construction programmes from first principles using Primavera P6.
• Collaborate with project teams to understand methods, sequencing and requirements.
• Monitor progress, identify delays and risks, and propose improvements.
• Provide regular updates and analysis for project stakeholders.
• Support programme strategy and project controls to enable delivery.
• Share knowledge and contribute to a strong planning culture.
• Work collaboratively with clients, contractors and wider teams.
