Location: Marybank Quarry, Western Isles

Description

We are currently seeking a Civil Engineering Works Foreperson based at our Marybank Quarry site, on Stornoway Isle of Lewis in the Western Isles. As a Foreperson, you will be responsible to co‑ordinate site works, oversee the team of operatives at the various sites, as well as liaising with our clients and other contractors on site as required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to direct the work of others and make decisions where required
  • Experience in civils/hard landscaping
  • Full driving licence
  • Well organised and strongly focused on Health & Safety at all times, with an eye for detail
  • Ability to delegate responsibilities and multitask
  • Ensure all work is carried out in line with Customer / Company requirements
  • You will need to be an excellent team player, have a safety‑first attitude, and be very adaptable.
