Job summary

Navitas Engineering, part of Octavius and the RSK Group, is seeking a Design Engineer (Civils) to join our civil engineering team in London or Glasgow. You will support the delivery of civil and multidisciplinary infrastructure projects, working across the design lifecycle from feasibility to construction support.

You will collaborate with internal teams and clients, develop technical knowledge, and be encouraged to pursue professional development toward Incorporated or Chartered Engineer status.

Qualifications

• Experience or interest in industrial, utility, rail or energy infrastructure projects, particularly civil works that interface with electrical installations.
• Understanding of fundamental civil engineering principles and design processes.
• Knowledge of relevant engineering standards and regulations.
• Ability to prepare technical reports, calculations and engineering documentation.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of civil engineering and multidisciplinary infrastructure projects.
• Assist throughout design lifecycle from feasibility to detailed design.
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to deliver high‑quality engineering solutions.
