Civils CAD Technician: Croydon

We are looking for a skilled Civils CAD Technician to join a growing consultancy in Croydon. This permanent role offers the chance to work on a variety of civil, structural and geotechnical projects, producing high quality 2D and 3D drawings while collaborating with engineers and project teams.

Hybrid Working Available

Key Responsibilities

• Produce accurate 2D and 3D CAD drawings and models across multiple civil engineering disciplines
• Work closely with engineers and project managers to ensure designs are effectively translated into technical drawings
• Update and modify drawings based on team feedback
• Maintain organised CAD files, ensuring compliance with company procedures
• Support junior technicians and contribute to training and development
• Ensure all work meets company and industry standards, including quality and safety requirements

Requirements

• Diploma or certificate in CAD Design, Civil Engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a CAD Technician in a civil engineering consultancy
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, Revit and awareness of BIM standards/ISO 19650 workflows
• Strong understanding of civil engineering design principles and attention to detail
• Effective communication and teamwork skills; able to manage multiple tasks efficiently
