Salary: £30,000 - £35,000

This is an excellent opportunity to join my client, a trusted, forward-thinking Multidisciplinary Consultancy renowned for lending their expertise to an array of projects across the engineering and energy landscapes. They are actively seeking a driven, experienced Civils and Drainage Engineer committed to working alongside an already-established team of experts within the civil engineering, drainage, and flood risk sectors, based near the green-minded, historical port town of Grimsby.

Responsibilities
  • Designing, developing, and delivering a range of drainage and other infrastructure/non-infrastructure solutions for a range of clients
  • Working on a range of interesting projects across the residential, commercial, industrial, energy, and education sectors
  • Producing reports and other technical documents to support planning applications and project delivery
  • Collaborating with other teams, internal and external to the company, to deliver aspects of important, high-profile projects
  • Liaising with colleagues, clients, and other significant stakeholders, acting as a trusted representative of the company
  • Attending site meetings and other relevant project meetings
  • Mentoring and supporting other colleagues
Required skills and experience
  • A Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Demonstrable experience of working in a design-based civil engineering role, with a particular emphasis on drainage, in a UK consultancy setting
  • Excellent proficiency with AutoCAD, Civils 3D, and InfoDrainage/MicroDrainage
  • Sound understanding of the relevant Section Agreements (e.g., S104, S106, etc.)
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • Good organisational skills, with the ability to work to your own initiative, as well as part of a high-performing team
  • Ability to work well under pressure, maintaining the highest of standards at all times
  • Hold a full, valid UK driving licence
Desirable skills and experience
  • Keen interest in proactively pursuing Chartership Status
  • A Master's Degree in Civil Engineering (or similar, relevant discipline)
  • Proficiency with Site3D
