My client is a civil & structural engineering firm based in Colchester, Essex. The company specialises in delivering high-quality engineering solutions to civil and structural projects. They are now looking for a Civil Technician to join their team.

Responsibilities

• Progressing the detailed design of road and drainage schemes associated with residential development.
• You should be familiar with the calculation of external levels, the preparation of detailed drawings including long sections and drawing associated with S38, S278, S104 & S106 submissions.
• Under supervision model the contours of sites and to determine external levels and be familiar with the requirements of Part M of the building regulations.
• Under supervision prepare drainage models in Windes or Site 3D.
• Strong Communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Experience in Site 3D , PDS and Windes is an advantage but not essential.
• Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to meet project deadlines.
• Relevant certifications or training in drafting or civil engineering is a plus.
