Where will you be working?

M Group Telecom. At M Group Telecom, we're enabling and enhancing telecom networks, playing a lead role in the delivery of our tech-enabled future. We deliver full network cycle services for fixed, private and mobile operators. This role will be within our Fixed networks team; you'll join our people who support providing turnkey solutions for the surveying, designing, building and commissioning new networks, while supporting the repair, maintenance and operation of existing networks.

What will you be doing?

We are looking for a Civil Supervisor to oversee site activities for telecom infrastructure projects. This role ensures work is delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards. You will manage daily operations on excavation, ducting, reinstatement, and other civil works. You will check that all work follows design specifications and Openreach standards.

Health and safety is central to this role. You will make sure regulations are followed, permits are in place, and risk assessments are completed. You will carry out site audits and toolbox talks. If an incident occurs, you will gather evidence and report it.

Communication is key. You will work closely with our team, subcontractors, and local authorities. You will coordinate permits and traffic management. You will be the main contact for field teams and keep management informed of progress and any delays.

Quality matters. You will inspect works to confirm they meet telecom build standards. You will ensure reinstatement meets local authority requirements.

This role suits someone with experience in civil works and telecom projects. You should understand health and safety regulations such as CDM and NRSWA. Strong organisational and communication skills are essential.
