Aldwych Consulting seeks a Civil/Structural Design Engineer (Marine) to join our Kingston office. You will contribute to marine and harbour projects, applying civil and structural design skills to concrete, steel and marine structures.

Civil/Structural Design Engineer (Marine)

Are you a hungry civil/structural engineer, keen to progress your career as a structural engineer within the marine/maritime structures sector?

Would Kingston suit you?

Privately owned and family run practice of specialist consulting engineers require graduate Civil/Structural Designers to join their team.

Ideally you will already have experience in this sector, but recent graduates able to demonstrate an interest/academic project experience in this field will also be considered.

The firm has an excellent reputation in its specialist field and has been running for many years. They are an international firm and provide services worldwide for ports and harbour engineering and container terminals. Experience of working on similar projects would be advantageous. They are a dynamic and successful team.

You should be a confident team player ideally with knowledge in areas such as reinforced concrete, steel piles and structures, bridges, wharf structures, quay structures, heavy duty pavements and marine structures design (e.g breakwaters etc.) . Design and report writing will be a part of the role, so excellent communication skills are essential.

The position is full time at the Kingston office with the possibility of occasional short international trips, and includes medical insurance and pension in addition to basic salary.
