Role Overview

We are seeking a Chartered, or near Chartered, Civil Structural Engineer to join the team. The successful candidate will work primarily on housing projects, providing engineering design and consultancy support from concept through to construction. You will be involved in both civil infrastructure and structural design elements, contributing to a variety of residential and mixed‑use projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and analysis for civil and structural elements of housing projects.
  • Preparation of engineering drawings, calculations and technical reports.
  • Liaison with architects, planners, contractors and clients.
  • Site inspections and monitoring of construction to ensure compliance with design and regulations.
  • Feasibility studies, cost estimation and technical advice for housing projects.
  • Ensuring designs comply with UK standards, Building Regulations and best practice guidance.
Candidate Requirements
  • Chartered Engineer (CEng) or working towards chartership.
  • Civil or Structural Engineering degree.
  • Experience in housing or residential consultancy is essential.
  • Excellent knowledge of structural/civil design principles and UK regulations.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
