The Opportunity

As a Civil/Structural & Bridge Engineer, you’ll work alongside senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-impact projects across the UK:

  • Assist in the design of bridges, culverts, retaining walls, and other civil structures across rail, highway, and energy sectors
  • Support feasibility studies, scheme and detailed designs, and construction-phase technical reviews
  • Contribute to drawing production, specifications, and engineering reports
  • Participate in client meetings and internal design reviews
  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely and high-quality delivery
  • Engage in proposal preparation and tender submissions
  • Receive mentorship and technical guidance from senior engineers and chartered professionals
  • Contribute to best practice initiatives and sustainability goals within the team
What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for a motivated engineer with a strong foundation and a desire to grow:

  • Master’s degree in mechanical, Civil or Structural Engineering or above
  • Working toward Chartered Engineer status (or recently achieved)
  • Experience in infrastructure or bridge design
  • Familiarity with relevant codes and standards (e.g., Eurocodes, MCHW, DMRB, NR standards etc)
  • Strong Analytical skills with experience of using structural analysis software (e.g., MIDAS, SOFiSTiK)
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to manage time effectively, contribute to multiple projects and under programme pressure
