Salary: £30,000

£35,000 DOE

Hours: Mon Fri, 9am-5pm (part-time / flexible considered)

The Role

Our client, a reputable and growing law firm with a strong regional client base, is seeking a Civil Solicitor to join their expanding team. This is a varied role handling a broad civil caseload including landlord & tenant disputes, consumer law, employment matters, and more. The position offers excellent development opportunities and includes advisory work for new and growing businesses through a local council initiative.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a broad civil caseload, including landlord & tenant disputes
  • Consumer rights and breach of contract claims
  • Employment and HR matters
  • Misrepresentation claims
  • Wills and estate administration disputes
  • Some commercial matters
  • Provide clear, practical legal advice to individuals and businesses
  • Represent clients in negotiation, mediation, and court proceedings
  • Draft and review legal documents and correspondence
  • Maintain strong client relationships with a high standard of service
  • Support new enterprises through a local authority business support initiative
  • Participate in business development and contribute to the department's growth
Requirements
  • Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales)
