A well-established solar client in the Leeds area is seeking a Civil Site Supervisor for a large-scale ground mount solar farm project. The role involves supervising civil works, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and maintaining site records. Applicants must have relevant supervisory experience and certifications like SSSTS and First Aid. This is a contract position lasting around 10 months.

Qualifications

• Must have previous experience of working on a large-scale ground mount solar farm.
• Experience in a managerial/supervisory position required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all civil works including earthworks, access roads, drainage.
• Monitor daily site operations for safety and efficiency.
• Liaise with project engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Conduct site inspections for compliance with standards.
• Maintain accurate site records including progress reports.
• Enforce health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Resolve on-site issues and escalate when necessary.
