Carmichael UK is recruiting an experienced Agent to join a major UK infrastructure project in Plymouth. You will coordinate site teams, subcontractors and stakeholders, ensuring safe delivery of activities and adherence to programme and contract requirements.

We seek a proactive construction professional with strong leadership, contracts knowledge, and a commitment to health, safety and quality standards. This permanent role offers a competitive salary and long-term career prospects.

Competenze

• Proven experience in civil engineering or construction delivery.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• Solid understanding of construction contracts and project controls.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities.

Mansioni

• Act as primary on-site contact for subcontractors, suppliers and client representatives.
• Support subcontractor administration and purchase orders.
• Monitor progress to meet programme requirements and specifications.
• Coordinate site logistics, inspections, deliveries and construction activities.
• Prepare reports and correspondence related to progress and contractual matters.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, QS, Engineers and site teams to resolve issues.
• Assist with claims, disputes and risk management as required.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards.
• Support project cost control and programme management activities.
