A leading recruitment agency is seeking a Civil QC Inspector for a long-term contract in North Wales. This role involves ensuring compliance with quality control plans and working on a Carbon Capture project. Applicants should have proven experience in quality control within the Oil and Gas industry, along with a degree in Civil Engineering. The position offers an excellent day rate of £475 - £530 and requires onsite work 5.5 days a week.

Civil QC Inspector

Talacre (North Wales) Onshore site - 24 months + Contract - Project expected to last 2/3 years

£475 - £530 a day Outside IR35 - Onsite work 5.5 days per week

Are you looking for a long term contract Outside IR35 role with an excellent day rate working on EPC projects within the Oil and Gas industry?

This role will be working on a Carbon Capture project offshore in Liverpool bay with the project expected to last 2/3 years. The role will be Monday - Friday with some Saturday work 8-1pm.

This role is perfect for someone with Civil QC Inspector experience working within the Oil and gas or similar industry. In this role you will work within a team of QC inspectors, whilst ensuring Quality Control Plans are correctly carried out and liaise with the end client.

The company are a market leader in the EPC sector market specialising in onshore and offshore projects.

The Role
  • Follow quality procedures, issue records, report non-conformances, and ensure compliance with the Quality Control Plan.
  • Verify foundations, reinforcements, material certifications, and monitor environmental and curing conditions during concrete operations.
  • Review and document test results (e.g., density, moisture, strength) and ensure all quality and inspection records are properly managed and retrievable.
  • Oversee subcontractor activities to ensure implementation of approved QC/Inspection Test Plans and collection of related quality records.
