Civil Project Engineer

Location: Kent

Employment Type: Contract - Outside IR35

Hybrid working: 2 days a week in the office or onsite

Role Overview

• Deliver and coordinate civil engineering works from detailed design through to completion and handover.
• Review and interpret drawings, specifications, and construction documentation.
• Support the site team in planning, sequencing, and delivering civil packages safely and efficiently.
• Collaborate closely with mechanical, electrical, and process disciplines to ensure fully integrated project delivery.
• Maintain the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance throughout all stages.
• Provide input into design reviews, risk assessments, and progress reporting.

About You

• Degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
• Proven experience working within the water or wastewater sector.
• Strong understanding of civil construction methods, including reinforced concrete structures, pipelines, and water retaining assets.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills with a proactive, delivery-focused approach.
• CSCS / SMSTS / EUSR Water Hygiene desirable.
