Job Overview

Service Care Solutions is currently seeking an experienced Civil Litigation Solicitor to join a local authority in Derbyshire on a full-time, temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a busy and supportive in-house legal team handling a diverse range of civil litigation matters.

Position Details

• Role: Civil Litigation Solicitor
• Location: Derbyshire – hybrid
• Umbrella Rate: £50 - £55 per hour
• PAYE Inc. Rate: £44.10 - £48.44 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Handle a varied caseload of civil litigation matters, including personal injury and general debt recovery.
• Conduct reserved activity litigation work with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrate strong technical ability and confidence in managing your own files from start to finish.

Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor (or equivalent) with current practising certificate.
• Proven experience in personal injury and debt recovery.
• Experience working within or for a local authority is advantageous, though not essential.
