Overview

Civil Engineering Technician - Cardiff | Permanent, Full Time

I'm working with a leading built environment consultancy that's looking for a Civil Engineering Technician to join their Cardiff team. This is a great opportunity to be part of a multidisciplinary business delivering a wide range of projects across the UK - from schools and colleges to S278 highway schemes and sustainable drainage (SAB) designs.

The team has particular expertise in highways design, earthworks, cut and fill assessments, remediation, underground services, flood alleviation and sustainable drainage systems. You'd be working closely with senior engineers, developing highways and drainage designs in 2D and 3D, producing levels drawings, and ensuring designs meet QA standards.

Responsibilities
  • Proficient in AutoCAD with civil engineering experience
  • Skilled in Civil 3D and ideally Infodrainage
  • Experienced in highway, drainage and earthworks projects
  • Familiar with DMRB, Manual for Streets, and ideally Keylines / Keysigs / Keypost
  • Qualified to HNC level (or equivalent)
