You will manage the day-to-day site stores, ensuring materials, equipment and documentation are accurately controlled and maintained. The role requires PUWER and COSHH certification, plus strong Excel skills and independent work on a busy site.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Store Manager/Logistics Manager on a large civil engineering project.
• PUWER certification and practical experience essential.
• COSHH certification and practical experience essential.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel.
• Experience managing site stores and stock control systems.
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
• Good attention to detail and ability to work independently on site.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operation of the site stores.
• Receive, check, record and distribute materials, tools and equipment.
• Maintain accurate stock records and inventory control.
• Manage store information and records using computer systems.
• Ensure equipment and materials are stored safely and correctly.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation and records.
• Ensure compliance with PUWER and COSHH requirements.
• Liaise with site teams, suppliers and project management.
• Monitor stock levels and identify shortages or requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe store environment.
• Demonstrate attention to detail and accurate record keeping.
