VANRATH are delighted to be partnering with one of Northern Ireland's leading consultancy practices, who are recruiting a Civil Engineer for their Water / Public Health Team in Belfast. This is a well-respected consultancy with a stable NI client base, strong repeat work, and a proven training culture.

The Ideal Person

• Degree qualified Civil Engineer
• 1+ year experience in water / drainage / public health engineering
• Experience with design and/or modelling software desirable (training provided)
• Strong analytical + communication skills
• Able to prioritise workload and deliver within agreed timescales
• Client focused and keen to progress professionally

Responsibilities

• Support design of water retaining structures, pumping stations, control buildings etc
• Prepare project specifications, BOQs and design documentation
• Attend design team meetings and contribute to technical reviews
• Organise / support site surveys and site investigation activities
• Support health & safety documentation and compliance with QA systems
• Provide wider civil engineering input to other teams when required
