Job summary

Penguin Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Civil Engineer – Wastewater Infrastructure to join a leading consultancy in Brighton. The role covers design and delivery of sewerage networks, with a hybrid working pattern and an initial induction in Slough.

You will contribute to pumping stations, rising mains, and gravity sewers while liaising with utilities and regulators. A 2+ year UK wastewater design background and relevant software skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in UK-based wastewater pipeline design.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and hydraulic modelling software such as InfoWorks ICM.

The Opportunity

This is a chance to join a rapidly growing engineering consultancy, where you will be part of an expanding detailed design team. As a Civil Engineer – Wastewater Infrastructure, you will work on projects that include the design and delivery of sewerage rising mains, trunk sewers, and wastewater pipeline rehabilitation. This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, with an initial induction period in Slough.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the detailed design and delivery of wastewater networks.
