Job summary

Ramboll in the United Kingdom and Ireland is seeking a Civil Engineer to join the Infrastructure team, delivering sustainable design from concept to completion across SuDS, drainage, utilities, earthworks and highways. You will work with multidisciplinary teams, develop client relationships, contribute to bids, and progress toward ICE Chartership while embracing Ramboll's commitment to sustainable change.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Active pursuit of CEng or IEng with a relevant institution.
• Experience delivering projects through all RIBA stages.
• Interest in sustainable infrastructure solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; production of technical reports.

Responsibilities

• Deliver civil and infrastructure design across SuDS, drainage, utilities, earthworks and highways.
• Integrate civil design with other disciplines for coordinated, constructible outcomes.
• Represent Ramboll with clients and stakeholders.
• Support health, safety and quality practices across the team.
• Assist business development and bid responses.
• Support Ramboll's Global Strategy and sustainable change guidance.

What You'll Do

• Contribute to civil and infrastructure design delivery across projects (SuDS, surface & foul drainage, utilities, earthworks, highways) whether driven by Infrastructure or multi-disciplinary programmes.
• Contribute to the integration of civil design with other disciplines, ensuring coordinated and constructible outcomes.
• Develop the skills to represent Ramboll with clients and stakeholders.
• Contribute to health, safety and quality best practice (including CDM) across the team.
• Support business development: build relationships, gather market intelligence and contribute to discipline-specific bids.
• Champion Ramboll's Global Strategy, Partner for Sustainable Change.
• Take ownership of your career development and progression towards ICE Chartership.

About You

• Technical background in civil engineering: SuDS, surface & foul drainage and earthworks design, with up-to-date knowledge of relevant standards.
• Experience contributing to the delivery of projects through all RIBA stages.
• Interest in delivering sustainable infrastructure solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with experience producing technical reports.
• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Actively working toward CEng or IEng with a relevant institution.
• An interest in learning new skills and a desire to progress your career.
• Desirable software experience: InfoDrainage, MicroDrainage, Civil 3D.
