Our client, a nationwide Civil and Structural Engineering Consultancy, is seeking a Civil Engineer to join their London office, located in Zone 1 with exceptional transport links.

This role requires experience in drainage and residential projects. Salary up to £50,000, with enhanced pension, bonus, flexible benefits, hybrid working, and 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays.

Civil Engineer Job Overview

Civil Engineer Job Requirements
  • MEng, BEng, or BSc, working towards Chartered status
  • 5+ years’ experience within a UK consultancy
  • Experience in detailed design of drainage and residential works
  • Knowledge of British Standards and Eurocodes
  • Experience using AutoCAD and MicroDrainage
  • Experience writing reports such as Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Statements
  • Experience designing foul and surface water drainage, and vehicle swept‑path assessments using AutoTrack
  • Experience using ground modelling software for horizontal/vertical alignment and earthworks
  • Experience negotiating with highway authorities, drainage authorities, and the Environment Agency
  • Valid UK driving licence

Development potential: progression to Principal or Associate level as the company grows across all offices.
