A respected South West-based consultancy is looking for an experienced Civil Engineer to join their growing team in Exeter. This is a great opportunity to get involved in a variety of projects including residential, commercial, education, health, etc., as part of a supportive, trusted team.

The Role

You’ll assist in the delivery of infrastructure and drainage design for a range of projects, carrying out technical design work from concept through to construction. Supporting junior staff if required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Producing designs using AutoCAD and design software such as InfoDrainage or Flow.
  • Preparation of calculations and technical submissions.
  • Working on drainage strategies and Section 104, 106, 38 and 278 agreements.
  • Supporting with site visits and internal project meetings.
  • Ensuring timely, accurate delivery of work.
  • Supporting junior team members if required for your post.
What You’ll Need
  • Degree in Civil Engineering or similar.
  • Minimum of 6 months’ experience in drainage or infrastructure design (post‑grad or placement).
  • Awareness of the residential sector desirable.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD.
  • Experience with InfoDrainage, Flow or similar drainage software.
