Job summary

TED Recruitment is seeking a Civil Engineer to work on drainage, earthworks and highways design in Leeds, West Yorkshire. The successful candidate will join a growing consulting engineering firm with good promotion prospects and a role based in Leeds.

You will need a BSc (and MSc helpful) in Civil/Structural Engineering, around four years of design experience, and familiarity with UK codes. A full UK driving licence and the ability to attend remote sites are required.

Qualifications

• Requires BSc in Civil or Structural Engineering; MSc is useful but not essential.
• Approximately four years of experience in design engineering.
• Prefer experience with a UK consulting engineering firm and UK codes/regulations.
• Candidate may be working toward chartership.
• Experience in designing and detailing drainage, earthworks and highways.
• Ability to prepare plans and drawings for all project stages.
• Must be able to produce design drawings.
• Proficient in Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D and Civils 3D.
• Reports to a Senior or Principal Engineer.
• Full UK driving licence and own vehicle for site visits.
