Job summary

Facade Today is hiring a Civil Engineer to assist in delivering a range of Civil Engineering services. You will work on projects across the UK and can benefit from hybrid working conditions. Your responsibilities include developing designs, preparing calculations, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

The ideal candidate should possess a Civil Engineering degree and have basic software skills in AutoCAD and Civil 3D. Additional benefits include 25 days of holiday and healthcare plans.

We currently have a vacancy open for a Civil Engineer who is looking to develop their career, working on a diverse portfolio of projects throughout the UK. This role will be based at either our Braintree or London offices, subject to business requirements the role may be eligible for hybrid working.

As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting with the delivery of Civil Engineering services for a range of projects. You will be providing technical expertise, coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams, whilst ensuring compliance within all relevant design standards and regulations.

Key Areas of Responsibilities Will Include:

• Develop technical designs using AutoCAD and Civil 3D
• Prepare calculations and hydraulic models with senior support
• Inspect infrastructure and write follow‑up technical reports
• Draft documentation and project drawings for final issue
• Attend meetings including pre‑contract visits and client briefs

Requirements

• Civil Engineering degree or an equivalent qualification
• Basic software knowledge of AutoCAD, InfoDrainage, and Civil 3D
• Professional drive to work toward EngTech, IEng, or CEng MICE

This role requires you to have a full clean driving licence with access to your own vehicle, and will be subject to a DBS Enhanced check.

Hours

Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm
