Candidates must have a solid consultancy background in Civil Engineering.

Key skills & experience
  • Minimum of 2 years’ post-qualification experience in Civil Engineering design consultancy
  • BSc or BEng qualified, ideally with a year in industry working for a consultancy
  • An ability to communicate effectively, writing clear and concise emails, letters and reports
  • Good commercial awareness and an ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
This Civil Engineering team undertakes the following tasks
  • Site appraisals, feasibility assessments
  • Pre-application planning advice, technical support for outline and detailed planning applications and the approval of reserved matters, discharging planning conditions
  • Production of pre-planning reports, including Flood Risk Assessments, Foul Drainage & Utility Assessments
  • Drainage remedial works
  • Earthworks modelling
  • Preparation of detailed design information for Tender and Construction
  • Highways design – local authority and private residential / commercial (S38 / 184 / 278)
  • Road and Sewer / SuDS Adoption
  • Contract Management
  • Client’s Representative
  • Expert Witness
