Civil Engineer
£35,000 - £45,000
Birmingham

We’re working with a growing engineering consultancy in Birmingham, who are looking to expand their team with the addition of a Civil Engineer.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong foundation in infrastructure design, particularly in drainage and highways.

What you’ll be doing:

• Producing detailed designs for highways, drainage, and earthworks schemes
• 3D surface modelling and hydraulic drainage design using Civils 3D & Flow
• Supporting the preparation and approval of S278, S38, S104, and S106
• Attending client, contractor, and local authority meetings as a project representative
• Assisting in the preparation of Flood Risk Assessments and SuDS strategies
• Collaborating closely with senior engineers, contractors, and design teams

What we’re looking for:

• 5+ years’ UK experience in infrastructure or civil engineering consultancy
• Proficient in Civils3D, AutoCAD and drainage software (Microdrainage, Flow)
• Working knowledge of highways and drainage approval (S278, S104, etc.)
• Experience working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
