Job summary

Aztrum is seeking a Drainage Engineer for a market-leading Engineering and Environmental Consultancy in Bath. The role is hybrid with 3 days in the Bath office each week. You will work with a team on flood risk assessments, drainage design and SuDS using ArcGIS, AutoCAD and infodrainage.

Responsibilities include managing projects, attending client meetings, and supporting the design team on bespoke university projects and access road design. Local Bath presence is required.

Qualifications

• UK-based consultancy experience in flood risk and drainage design.
• Ability to work from Bath office 3 days per week.
• Degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Conduct flood risk assessments for zones 1–3.
• Create flood risk maps with ArcGIS.
• Design drainage and SuDS with AutoCAD and infodrainage.
• Design access roads.
• Develop drainage solutions for bespoke builds and universities.
• Manage projects including planning and reporting.
• Attend client meetings to discuss progress and opportunities.
• Support design work within the team.

My Client, a market-leading Engineering and Environmental Consultancy based in Bath, is searching for a Drainage Engineer to join their team. The role requires working from the office on a hybrid basis (3 days a week).

Responsibilities

• Complete flood risk assessments for flood zones 1, 2 and 3.
• Produce flood risk mapping using ArcGIS.
• Design drainage, attenuation and sustainable drainage solutions (SuDS) using AutoCAD and infodrainage.
• Carry out access road design.
• Develop sustainable drainage solutions for bespoke builds and university projects.
• Manage projects, including planning, monitoring and reporting.
• Attend client meetings to discuss project progress and explore new business opportunities.
• Support team members with design work.

Qualifications

• Strong BSc and/or MSc in Civil Engineering, Environmental Management, Hydrology or Environmental Engineering.
• Experience working for a UK-based consultancy on flood risk assessments, drainage strategies and design using infodrainage, Causeway or AutoCAD.
• Must be able to work from the office in Bath 3 days per week.
• Reside locally near the Bath office.
