Overview

Rare opportunity for a Civil Design Engineering Team Leader available! I am currently recruiting for a Civil Design Engineering Team Leader (Associate / Associate Director / Director level) for a respected multi‑disciplinary consultancy in Central London.

You will be the civil design lead, managing and developing a growing team of engineers and technicians, delivering a wide range of infrastructure projects. Typical work will include S278 highways schemes and drainage design, with projects across residential, commercial, industrial, and regeneration sectors.

The company is a well‑established consultancy with an excellent reputation for delivering complex infrastructure projects. They have a strong presence in transport planning, civil design, drainage, and flood risk management, and are known for their collaborative and client‑focused approach.

The ideal candidate will bring proven private sector consultancy experience, with a strong background in highways design (S278/S38) and ideally drainage. You will have previous team leadership experience and a track record of project delivery, with the ability to win work and build strong client relationships. While your focus will be on team leadership, management, and business development, a robust technical background is essential.
