Civil Engineering Director Location: Central London | Hybrid Working Salary: £80,000-£100,000 DOE Type: Permanent, Full Time I'm working with an established engineering consultancy that is looking to appoint a Civil Engineering Director to lead and develop its existing civil engineering team from its Central London office. This is a particularly interesting opportunity for an experienced Civil Engineering leader who wants genuine autonomy to shape the future direction of a successful team, develop client relationships and drive growth - without having to build a business from scratch. You'll inherit an established team of experienced Civil Engineers and Technicians, alongside a strong pipeline of projects generated both directly and through the wider group. The team currently delivers highways and drainage infrastructure design across a varied portfolio including residential developments, schools, commercial and industrial projects.
The important thing about this opportunity is that the foundations are already there. You're not being asked to build a civil engineering division from scratch. There is an established team, existing clients, a strong project pipeline and the backing of a wider engineering group. The successful candidate will have the autonomy to develop their own strategy, strengthen client relationships, identify new opportunities and ultimately shape a significant part of the business.
